Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic deaths of two friends on Christmas Day.
The incident happened in Louisburgh, Co. Mayo, in the early hours of December 25th.
Two men aged in their 20s died when their vehicle was swept away after it entered the Carrownisky River.
A 19-year-old man managed to escape.
