72-year-old James Joyce has been missing from his home in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, since Friday June 5.
He is described as being 1.70m (5′ 7″) tall, of stocky build and with thin, grey hair that is dyed brown.
Mr Joyce usually wears denim jeans and cowboy boots, and he speaks with soft Northern Irish accent. It is understood that he has frequented the Donegal area in the past.
