On March 9, just after 12.30 p.m., emergency services and the Gardaí were notified of a car-motorcycle incident on the M50’s southbound lane close to Junction 7 at the Lucan/Palmerstown exit.
The motorbike’s driver, Christian Rasmussen, 51, of Denmark, was killed when he struck a vehicle on the M50. Originally from Denmark, Mr. Rasmussen has been a resident in Carlow for almost 20 years. His friends called him Danish Paddy, reports The Mirror.
The Gardaí are still urging anyone who saw this accident to come forward.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the M50 in west Dublin, that occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, 9 March”, reports The Mirror.
