Gardai in Co. Cork had a busy Wednesday evening, after they were called to two separate incidents in the same area within a short period of time.
The first incident saw a teenager being stabbed in the Curraheen Road, Bishopstown, at around 10pm. The teenager’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The second incident, a serious assault on a male in his 20s, happened on the same area just a short time later.
Gardai are investigating both events.
