Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that they are currently reviewing CCTV footage after images of a car crash on the M50 have been shared on social media.
In an announcement made on Friday, Gardai said that they are currently reviewing the footage and are searching for vehicles that may have stopped and took photos or recorded footage of the incident.
The investigation comes after a woman who has been named as Jackie Griffin was killed in the crash.
Gardaí are urging the public not to share any photos or footage of the incident on social media.
Meanwhile Facebook have confirmed that they have removed photos and footage from their website.
