
A male cyclist in his 20s has been seriously injured following a hit-and-run collision in Dublin on Tuesday.
Gardaà and emergency services attended the scene at approximately 7:45am, reports Breaking News.
The incident involved a car and a male pedal cyclist.
The cyclist was taken to the Mater Misericordiae Hospital with serious injuries, while the car fled the scene, reports Breaking News.
The road is currently closed and is being technically examined by local Crime Scene Investigators, with local diversions in place.
Gardaà are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward, reports Breaking News.
Road users with camera footage — including dash-cam footage — from the area at the time are asked to make it available to investigating gardaÃ.
