Gardai have scored a major haul of cannabis, after two separate operations yielded almost €250,000 worth of the drug.
Almost 12kg of herbal cannabis was seized in Co. Tipperary today.
Three men of Lithuanian nationality were arrested at a premises in Roscrea in connection with the incident.
A second search in the same town later on yielded an extra 5 kg. of the drug.
The men have been detained at Nenagh Garda Station under the provisions of section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
