Gardai seized €25,000 worth of counterfeit goods outside the Aviva Stadium yesterday, as Manchester United were playing a friendly game against UC Sampdoria.
Seventeen out of twenty one vendors checked were found to be selling dodgy merchandise.
Gardai seized 225 hats 200 placards, 140 flags, and 2,220 scarves among other material.
All these goods will be destroyed.
