Gardaí and Customs officials have confirmed that 24,600 litres of beer at Rosslare Europort.
It is understood that the seizure worth €94,000 was made after a truck container was searched earlier this week.
Customs officials say the truck is believed to have arrived on a ferry from France.
Gardaí added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
