Gardai have seized €400k worth of heroin during an operation targeting drug trafficking in the midlands.
The drugs were found at two separate locations; €300,000 worth of heroin was seized after Gardai stopped a vehicle in the Crumlin area of Dublin yesterday.
A further €300,000 was seized at a house in the Killucan area of Co. Westmeath, also yesterday.
A 35-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the incidents.
