Covid-19 regulations are going to be heavily enforced by members of An Gardai across the country from tomorrow.
Gardai will be conducting a compliance enforcement operation around pubs this weekend, to ensure establishments follow health guidelines.
Pubs and bars that serve substantial meals were allowed to open this week. However, there are reports of many publicans whose premises do not serve food also opening their doors to punters. The latter pubs are not meant to open until July 20.
Gardai will be conducting spot checks throughout the weekend.
