Gardai are this afternoon warning AIB customers of a text scam currently doing the rounds in Ireland.
Some AIB customers have reported receiving a text message asking them to ‘review’ their account or ‘block’ a fraudulent transaction, or else they risk having their account ‘locked out.’
The text contains links that lead to scam sites.
AIB customers are being asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious texts or messages from someone purporting to be their bank.
