Gasman called to Dublin apartment after woman’s boyfriend’s fart “sets off the CO2 alarm”

What can only be described as a completely bizarre story, a Dublin woman claims her boyfriend farted and triggered a CO2 alarm in her apartment.

According to the Mirror, Gas Networks Ireland were called out of the apartment to investigate what exactly the woman’s boyfriend had done. They had to investigate a so-called suspicious carbon monoxide incident.

The disgusting odour is said to have actually triggered the CO2 alarm, with Dublin woman Ziz O’Beirne claiming on Twitter that her boyfriend actually set off to CO2 alarm when he farted.

The disgusting odour meant that a man, seemingly dressed as a ghostbuster, was called from Gas Networks Ireland to the apartment at 7 a.m. on bank holiday Monday after St Patrick’s Day.

The woman said on Twitter that she could confirm that there was no actual accurate way of showing that the fart set off the alarm but she said that it was far too coincidental for both to have happened for same time.
