Sky watchers are in for a treat tonight as the Geminid meteor shower will put on a dazzling light show.
The streaking meteors will be seen from around 10pm tonight, though the official ‘peak’ will occur at around 2am. At this time, 50 to 100 shooting stars will cross the sky every minute. Some of them might glow in different colors and streak across the night in pairs, or groups of three.
So put on a good winter coat and look skyward tonight, you’re in for a treat!
