Derek Chauvin, the former police officer accused of killing George Floyd in Minneapolis last year, has invoked his right to not testify at his trial.
Chauvin’s defense team is now expected to rest its case, with closing arguments possibly being heard next week, and sentencing following shortly afterwards.
