Tributes pour in for motorcyclist in his 30s who has died in a crash




A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle crash in Ballinamore, Co Leitrim, on Thursday morning.

The crash occurred on the L1556 Ballinamore to Cloone road at around 8.40am, reports Breaking News.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was airlifted by air ambulance to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

He has since been pronounced dead, with a post-mortem examination to take place in due course, reports Breaking News.

The coroner has been notified.

The road was closed for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and has since reopened, reports Breaking News.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.

Road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam, and were travelling on the L1556 Ballinamore to Cloone road between 8.15am and 9am on 25 June are asked to make it available to investigating gardaí, reports Breaking News.
