The hunt is still on for the main suspect of Monday’s attack in Berlin that saw 12 people killed and dozens more injured, many of them critically.

A 24-year-old Tunisian man, Anis Amri, is suspected of having driven a truck through a crowded Christmas market in Berlin.

It is understood that the man had been under surveillance earlier this year. He was reportedly involved in drug dealing, and was due to be deported. Amri had used several aliases and had been in contact with Islamic organizations in Germany.

According to authorities, he is considered a threat, and a reward for his capture has now been offered.
