German company Rheinmetall has announced it will supply Ukraine with a state-of-the-art drone platform later this year.
Ukraine is set to receive the Luna New Generation system, which includes a ground control station, a launch ramp, and support hardware. Luna drones can perform recon missions and also act as electronic warfare platforms.
The aircraft, which can stay aloft for up to 12 hours and has a range of up to 100km, will become the latest asset in Ukraine’s arsenal of West-supplied equipment to defeat the invader.
