Germany has vowed to provide additional weapon platforms to extend the air-defence dome over Ukraine.
Currently, Western-supplied weaponry is able to destroy most incoming aerial assets, but these defence grids are limited to just a few areas. Germany’s plan would extend coverage to critical infrastructure facilities and beyond.
Ukraine may also soon receive MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS), which will enable the country to strike key targets far inside enemy territory.
