A major protest rally is planned to start at 2pm today at the old ESB building in East Wall with speaker Malachy Steenson calling for an immediate closure of a facility that’s housing migrants in the community.
Across the country, communities are rallying to oppose the government migrant plantation agenda which is seeing tens of thousands of Ukrainians and thousands of migrants from other countries settled in towns and villages, straining public services and diverting resources from struggling Irish people.
People are urged to go down and show their support of the community as the government digs in and say they won’t close the facility.
The protest starts at 2pm and we’ll be covering it as the day goes on.
