Our source is a Fianna Fail canvasser from Cork who told The Liberal:
“We’ve been told to ready the posters for after Easter. There’s no way Micheal will agree to go into government with Kenny but he would definitely go into government with us”.
The issue has been echoed by Independents. Enda Kenny is said to be desperately striving to hang on to power by any means possible – even if it means going into power with old rival Fianna Fail.
The Fianna Fail activist went onto say:
“We expect the next election to be sometime early April, but we have our campaign team ready for any time it may be called.”
