Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary has urged the government to bring in 250 military personnel to help deal with the security delays that have plagued Dublin Airport in recent weeks.
It’s understood that DAA rejected the off due to the fact that it’s a lack of trained staff rather than just the number of people who are capable of working in the airport.
Many passengers have been posting on social media today claiming that the queues weren’t as bad as expected and that they managed to get through the airport relatively easily.
