Police in the North have sadly confirmed that a 9-year-old girl has passed away following a road traffic incident on Monday.
In an announcement the PSNI confirmed that the young girl sadly died following a single vehicle collision on the Hamiltonsbawn Road, in Co Armagh.
It is understood the driver of the vehicle, a man aged in his 60s was also taken to hospital for treatment.
However police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
