Gardai recently caught a motorist driving at the breakneck speed of 225km/h in a 120km/h zone.
The incident happened on the M1 motorway, near Ardee in Co. Louth.
Gardai stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was charged with dangerous driving.
