The country’s Golf Courses will close under Level 5 restrictions it has been confirmed.
In an announcement both the Golfing Union of Ireland and the Irish Ladies Golf Union confirmed that course will close from midnight tonight.
However it is believed that both unions are looking to keep practice facilities open under the new restrictions.
The news comes as a blow to golfers across the country as courses will be closed for a total of six weeks.
