The Chief Medical Officier Dr Tony Holohan is thankfully back at work and is feeling very well again.
The top medic has been leading Ireland through this, the most precarious of times, with the coronavirus outbreak that’s happening worldwide.
Dr Holohan was forced to go to St James’s Hospital in Dublin after he felt quite unwell on Tuesday evening. He underwent a number of tests but announced that he is now feeling fine and has resumed his full duties.
The HSE and Dr Holohan will be giving a briefing on today’s figures later this evening.
