
There was good news for a number of Credit Union account holders as the bank have issued their first debit cards, which will be available to over 350,000 members.
The Credit Union say the new debit MasterCard can be used for a number of transactions including ATM withdrawals, contactless payments and online purchases. It is understood a total of eleven Credit Unions will introduce the cards in June, they will be available in Credit Union’s in Gurranabraher, First South in Cork, Tullamore, Mullingar, Waterford, St Canice’s Kilkenny, Navan, Tralee, Health Services Staff, Mitchelstown and Ballinasloe.
It is believed more Credit Unions will introduce the cards later this year.
