There was good news for students about to undertake their state exams this summer as the ASTI confirmed that they will not disrupt exams whilst they carry out work stoppages.
It is understood teachers undertaking industrial action will only hold a series of one day stoppages during the Leaving and Junior Cert period.
The latest proposal will be submitted to delegates at the ASTI’s annual convention this afternoon.
