There’s good news for tennis fans who are missing the build-up to this year’s Wimbledon.
Thankfully it would appear that coronavirus is beginning to be behind us rather than ahead of us, and that includes sporting events too.
Wimbledon may be cancelled until 2021, but the US Open in Flushing Meadows is going ahead, starting on August 24th and running to September 14th.
Organisers say that it’ll be held “behind closed doors” with no crowd but that it is going ahead.
Meanwhile the French Open organisers say that they still plan on going ahead with their tournament at the end of September.
All’s not lost in the sporting world for 2020 it would seem!
