There was some good news for visa required nationals as the Department of Justice have confirmed that it is to abolish Ireland’s visa re-entry system.
Under the new changes those who wish to leave the country for a short period of time will not have to apply for a re-entry visa.
In an announcement made today The Department of Justice confirmed that the changes will come into effect from May 13th.
The change move will now mean that those who hold a Irish Residence Permit (IRP) or Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) card, will not have to re-apply for a visa.
