The Government has approved this year’s National Development Plan, which includes budgetary allocations for a new motorway, a new airport runway, and extension of Dart lines.
The budget allows for the construction of a Limerick to Cork motorway, and a second runway at Dublin Airport.
Also, the DART will soon reach Louth in one end and Kildare in the other.
In total, the plan has €115 billion allocated to major infrastructure projects.
