As 11,000 of our own lie homeless around the country, people are beginning to say that they’ve had enough of Ukrainians coming into the country.
The Government’s plan to house refugees in modular homes has hit roadblock, as homes won’t be ready for at least 3-4 months, which in reality means probably 6 or longer.
The Government had latched onto the idea of modular homes for refugees as accommodation manna from the heavens in recent weeks. Alas, the Government’s best laid plans have now been wasted by reality.
Notably, no modular homes were ever offered to the homeless here, who died in their droves every winter on Irish streets.
