Gardai have stood down the search for a missing man following the discovery of a body.
66-year-old Michael Griffin had last been seen in the Lord Edward Street area of Dublin 2 on October 6.
It is understood that a body was found in the Howth area today.
Gardai have thanked all those involved in the search.
