The Government is hinting that households might get between €600 and €1,000 spread over 3 months to help ease the impending energy crisis.
The help, which would come in the form of credit for electricity, would likely start arriving shortly before Christmas.
A number of measures to help combat the energy rip-off will be announced in the upcoming Budget.
