The government are now seriously looking at banning pornography in Ireland for people under 18 years of age.
The proposed safety measures follow this week’s verdict of two 14-yr-old boys being convicted of what many have called the “cruel, callous and inhumane” murder of schoolgirl Ana Kriegel.
It’s understood that the government are considering a similar system that the UK use which insists on users providing age verification for accessing pornographic content.
Many social workers have called for this in the past for Leo Varadkar and Co. appear to have ignored their requests.
