The Government is reportedly considering banning the sale of smartphones to people younger than 13.
The idea was floated during a speech by Education Minister Norma Foley today.
It is unclear why the Government suddenly cares about the youth in Ireland, when there are thousands of homeless children that the Government could not care less about.
