Government struggling to find accommodation for up to 3,500 Ukrainian refugees by the end of August

The Government is, perhaps unsurprisingly, struggling to find accommodation for up to 3,500 Ukrainian refugees by the end of August.

Students returning for the new school term will reclaim their accommodation, which is currently used for housing refugees.

The Government has been operating a rather unwise no cap policy on refugees, despite the 10,000+ roster of homeless people in Ireland. Still, the Irish Government has made abundantly clear its hell-bent intention to cram as many refugees as possible across the country, homeless be damned.
