The Government have confirmed today they will introduce a new scheme that will provide grants to first-time buyers.
The new scheme which will be brought in during the next Budget will see first time buyers being given a lump sum in return for upfront tax repayments.
The Government hope the new scheme will help prospective first time homebuyers get on the property ladder instead of being hampered by Central Bank lending restrictions.
