The Government have confirmed today that a major recruitment drive will be held for the Defence Force, with over 850 positions becoming available.
The announcement was made by the Minister with Responsibility for Defence Paul Kehoe, who said in total 890 positions will be made available for general service recruits, apprentices and cadets.
The recruitment drive has been welcomed by the department of defence who said the move will create significant opportunities, across the Army, Air Corps and Naval Service.
