Almost two weeks after this year’s LGGBDTTTIQQAAPP pride parade people are still find graffiti related to the even on the streets of Dublin, including one disturbing message which reads A.C.A.B, an acronym for “All Cops Are Bastards”.

The popular anarchist slogan which is painted alongside a risen clenched fist and painted the colours of the rainbow can be seen Pearse Street and along the Quays, the route of the pride parade.

In a new height of pandering this was the first in which uniformed Gardai took part in the parade celebrating homosexuality and trans-genderism and Garda vehicles were even painted with the rainbow colours, a symbol which has been used by the Gay community for decades.

However, this year’s pride parade was split between the mainstream, corporate sponsored and state endorsed parade and an “Alt-Pride” parade which encompassed more radical elements of the community who reject the state’s pandering of the parade.

Pictures from the so-called alt pride parade show revellers holding signs telling “Garda Pigs” to “F**k Off”.

So far the Gardai and the government have failed to comment on these signs and graffiti.
