There was some great news announced this evening as Gardai confirmed that a wheelchair belonging to a 6-year-old boy with cerebral palsy has been recovered.
In an announcement on Twitter, Garda Traffic confirmed that all property including a Ford Kuga car have been returned to the Fitzgerald family in Ashbourne, Co Meath.
The news comes after an appeal was launched earlier today when the car with the boy’s wheelchair, walking frame and car seat was stolen in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí say they would like to thank the public for their assistance in the matter.
