There was some more good news announced late last night as it was confirmed that the last person of the seven injured in the Berkeley balcony collapse has returned home to Ireland.
Hannah Waters (21), from Castleknock, Dublin, reportedly arrived home on Tuesday evening after she spent the last 3 months in a San Jose hospital. Ms Waters becomes the seventh and last of the injured victims to return home in recent weeks, it is understood that Ms Waters flew home on the direct overnight Aer Lingus flight from San Francisco to Dublin and arrived home yesterday evening.
Ms Waters had also been treated at the Highland Hospital, Oakland, where her parents, Una and Martin, had travelled to be by her bedside. Ms Waters will undergo further treatment here as she continues her rehabilitation.
