An American filmmaker who spent nearly two weeks searching for a bespoke tricycle last seen at Dublin airport has been told his luggage has been found.
Matthew Galat flew from Dublin to Calgary on June 23, but his $13,000 trike never arrived.
Galat, who this week shared a primetime report with other print and online media about the missing luggage, had asked anyone passing through the baggage claim area in Dublin to look for the box.
It’s understood that a baggage hall worker was watching the show and contacted the American man telling him that he’d have a look for the trike. The next day, the baggage worker managed to find the trike tucked away in the corner of the baggage security area.
