Doctors treating the two victims of last month’s poisoning attack in Salisbury England, have confirmed that one of the victims Yulia Skripal has been released from hospital.
In announcement made on Tuesday, the Medial Director of Salisbury General Hospital Dr Christine Blanshard, confirmed that the 33 year old daughter of former Russian agent Sergei Skripal, was released in good health.
The news which has been hailed as a significant milestone, comes just over a month after the pair were found slumped over on a park bench in the English city, after they were poisoned by a deadly nerve agent.
Although Yulia has to undergo further treatment, doctors treating the Ms Skripal have said they were more than happy to discharge her after she made a remarkable recovery in such a short space of time.
Meanwhile it is also hoped that Yulia’s father Sergei will be discharged in due course after it was revealed that he was also recovering well.
The poisoning of the pair has been the subject of widespread international news over the past month as many leading nations around the world have agreed with the British Government’s assessment, which suggests that the Russian Government were behind the deadly attack.
