The most infamous case of animal theft has been solved, well at least somewhat solved today.
Gardai have confirmed they have recovered Clares Rocket and that the dog is in a safe and well condition with no harm done.
Graham Holland, the dogs trainer, claimed no ransom was paid for the consistent winner and Shelbourne and the 2017 tipped favourite for English Derby.
The dog was stolen from its training facility in Golden, Co Tipperary on Sunday night, however gardai have made the following statement:
“We arrested four men late yesterday in the Tipperary area,” a Garda spokesman said. “ Two of them are being held in Tipperary, and the other two are being held in Clonmel Garda station.
The dog was located safe and well”
