It us understood that both management and union members at Bus Eireann will hold round the table talks later today in an effort to solve the company’s future.
The talks come after the firm recently revealed that they expect to record multi-million euro loss at the end of this year, after they lost more than €5m in 2015.
It is believed the company are now reviewing a number of options in order to cut costs, with redundancies and fewer bus routes expected in the coming months ahead.
