It’s looking increasingly likely that the Green Party’s Eamon Ryan will be in government with Fine Gael’s Leo Varadkar and Fianna Fail’s Micheal Martin, despite what the general election results showed.
Green Party leader Eamon Ryan said his party would try to negotiate a government programme with Fine Gael and Fianna Fail over the coming days.
A meeting this week between the parties started at 11am and took over an hour and a half.
The Greens also published the correspondence that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael had sent them over the weekend.
It shows that the parties would be committed to a new government that would agree to developing measures to reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 7% for the next decade. You can just imagine how much that would cost your wallet.
Is this the government that you voted for?
