The latest news emerging from the tragic incident at Grenfell Tower report that at least six people have lost their lives, and seventy four have been rushed to hospitals across London with severe burns.
Over 200 firefighters battled the blaze for hours at the high-rise building, located on Latimer Road, London, after receiving an emergency call at around 1.30am.
It is understood that local associations had warned that the building posed a severe fire risk in the months leading to the tragedy.
Grenfell Tower had been refurbished in the recent past, with cladding added to the facade. Some witnesses claim that the flames spread rapidly across the cladding material and that soon the entire building was engulfed in flames.
