Gross: Experts say Group Selfies are increasing the spread of head lice

A Wisconsin physician expert, Dr Sharon Rink has claimed that head lice is on the rise and the reason for it – SELFIES!

The phenomenon is being called ‘social media lice’ and it’s being said that group selfies are causing major issues in the transfer of lice, particularly in older children where friends tend too bump heads to all fit into the picture.

This may seem extreme, but head lice is a problem that needs medical treatment should a child become infected.

Experts claim that group selfies are perfectly acceptable, as long as the subjects of the picture don’t let their head or hair touch off each other.
