Ryanair has confirmed that it has cancelled a total of 24 flights for today, Friday, July 20th.
This is a result of the planned industrial action by pilots who vowed to strike over union disagreements with the company.
Ryanair said all affected customers have been contacted by text or email and that all passengers who have received neither should proceed as normal and expect their flight to take place as per usual, according to RTE.
Ryanair believe that the 100 members taking part in the dispute have been given written proposals to address their concerns.
It’s understood that possible future further striking will take place if agreements cannot be reached.
